LOT.100 Weddings

Cider, craft beer, gin and a paddock-to-plate restaurant all under one roof in the Adelaide Hills, so your guests are looked after from the first drink to the last dance.

Getting married at LOT.100!?

What I’ve learned LOT.100 is a proper party venue. The cellar door has an 8 metre stone fireplace and an open kitchen, and the deck out the back sits under a row of big gums that get lit up at night, so the reception looks just as good after dark as it does at golden hour.

Two of my LOT.100 couples had a 5pm ceremony right there on site, which means you go straight from the ceremony into drinks and photos without losing anyone to a bus. Namitha and Jonathan had their ceremony up the road at Stangate House in Aldgate and we drove over after, so it works either way.

For the big weddings the Courtyard Marquee takes up to 500 guests, so you will never run out of room on the dance floor.

Fun facts

  • LOT.100 is one of my most filmed Hills venues, with three weddings done and another booked for November 2026.

  • My LOT.100 weddings have been in October, November and April, spring and autumn, when the Hills are at their best.

  • The cellar door seats up to 130 guests, with an 8 metre stone fireplace, polished concrete floors and an open kitchen.

  • The Courtyard Marquee is a 20 x 30 metre black pavilion that holds up to 500 guests.

  • It’s home to Hills Cider Co, Mismatch Brewing, 78 Degrees gin and Ashton Valley Fresh, plus the LOT.100 restaurant.

  • It’s about 35 minutes from the Adelaide CBD at 68 Chambers Road, Hay Valley.

Sunset at LOT.100

Sunset is the bit couples forget to plan for. Here’s when the light goes, so you can build your run sheet around it.

  • October - 7:28pm, golden hour from 6:45pm

  • November - 7:57pm, golden hour from 7:10pm

  • December - 8:23pm, golden hour from 7:40pm

  • January - 8:30pm, golden hour from 7:45pm

  • February - 8:08pm, golden hour from 7:25pm

  • March - 7:33pm, golden hour from 6:50pm

  • April - 7:06pm before daylight saving ends, 5:57pm the weekend after

  • May - 5:19pm, golden hour from 4:35pm

  • June - 5:08pm, golden hour from 4:25pm

  • July - 5:20pm, golden hour from 4:35pm

  • August - 5:42pm, golden hour from 4:55pm

  • September - 6:04pm, golden hour from 5:20pm

With a 5pm ceremony in October or November, sunset lands somewhere between 7:30 and 8pm, right in the middle of the reception, so we duck out between courses for 15 minutes. Namitha and Jonathan got married in April after daylight saving had ended and sunset was before 6pm, so we did sunset photos the moment we arrived at LOT.100, before the reception had even started.

Brad Watson of 22 Wedding Films, Adelaide wedding videographer, laughing in a city laneway

Documentary wedding videographer, Adelaide.

I'm a wedding videographer based in Gawler. I've been doing this for 8 years now and have filmed over 200 weddings across Adelaide, the Barossa, the Hills and McLaren Vale.

When you book 22 Wedding Films, you get me. I'm the one who replies to your email, the one who turns up on the morning, and the one who finishes your film. No handing you off to someone you've never met.

I've been filming and documenting people since I was 15. I went full time about 8 years ago and I still get a kick out of it. Getting to film real people on one of the biggest days of their life is the best part of this job.

Hi, I’m Brad
